Chautauqua Park is the perfect spot to walk around the trails at the park and then take a dip in the pool, which is complete with water slides and a lazy river. Beloit is a little town in Mitchell County with a population of around 3,000. The summers here can be hot and humid, so what better place to cool off than at Chautaqua Park?
The 26-acre park boasts walking trails if you want to stretch your legs and get a little exercise in.
The Solomon River wraps around the park, making for scenic views. There's also a boat ramp if you'd like to get out on the water.
You'll also find a playground here, great for letting the little ones get their energy out!
The park also has a tennis court, basketball court, and even an area for camping.
What really makes this place the perfect summer attraction in Kansas, though, is the mini-water park!
