Finding a great state park to camp or visit during the spring is always worthwhile. Whether it's the warm weather or the rains, we think spring is an excellent time for travel. Who wouldn't like a beautiful state park visit? In no particular order, here are a few spring parks in Kansas we think you'll enjoy this year. Make sure you mark them down on your bucket lists!
1. Clinton State Park
Clinton State Park is a beautiful place in any season, but in the springtime, there's nothing better than a camping trip.
2. Eisenhower State Park
Wildflowers in many shades and a bit of water at Eisenhower State Park would easily make a spring day amazing. Just gazing over the water, you can feel the beauty.
3. Fall River State Park
Fall River is known for a beautiful forested area, and it'll look even more magical in the fresh green of springtime. Just imagine the smell of fresh grass as you hike through.
4. Sand Hills State Park
On the other end, the sand hills of Kansas makes a great state park to boot. Whether you're into horses or just traveling on foot, this park is more than beautiful in the springtime.

Hiking in beautiful lakeside trails is only made better by the cave you can also explore while you're here. Who wouldn't want a nice spring day to do that?
7. Wilson Lake State Park
Wilson state park is one of our favorites, and you can enjoy a hike here any time of year. Kayaking and biking are of course great options for those who want a little more excitement on their spring trips.
