Sipping a mug of your favorite hot drink, bundled up against the cold, there's nothing else that can complete your night more than a winter walk through holiday lights. This garden in Kansas comes alive every winter with just that, and you'll find it's the most magical place to be during the holidays. Many Kansans flock here each winter, and for good reason. Just look at those lights!
Every year, Kansans from all over, (and those from neighboring states too!) come down for a night of magic at Wichita's Botanica Gardens.
Every evening from November 24th to December 31st, excluding Christmas Eve and Day, you're able to walk through the lights strung up throughout the garden, turning it into a holiday wonderland.
The lights range from traditional, to a more vibrant take on our favorite part of the holidays.
They have over a million lights, and some gardens even have themes set up to enchant the younger ones.
You can gaze up at the tall trees on land, or...
bask in the glow of the floating trees on the pond. Some say they even dance to music!
