When a Kansas police department was contacted about a possible mountain lion sighting at a local park, officials set up a handful of trail cameras in Kansas in an effort to catch the feline frolicking. But much to the delight of the local PD and just about everyone else on the internet, something even better was captured on film. You will never guess what crazy things show up on these Kansas trail cams.

It all started pretty normal at first with a couple of cute furry creatures, like this coyote and skunk. It was everything the police department expected to see.

Yup, nothing out of the ordinary here. But then what is this? A bigfoot sighting in Kansas?!

No, it's not the famous hide-and-seek champion, but then things DID take a weird turn.

And got even weirder.

Can you imagine the reactions that must have happened while reviewing the footage? We are laughing right now just thinking of how fun that must have been.

Gardner Police report they didn't see any mountain lions on the cameras. Not one.

Instead, they found bigfoots, werewolves, gorillas, and more fun ridiculousness.

They now have a different set of concerns to worry about.

That includes finding the hilarious individuals who made these camera reels extra enjoyable.

"We would like to sincerely thank the persons responsible as it made our day when we pulled up what we expected to be hundreds of pictures of coyotes, foxes, and raccoons," the police department said.

"Thank you to the citizens who noticed the cameras. Your effort and sense of humor are greatly appreciated."

Touché.

This one may be my favorite. I can picture these gorillas dancing and having fun in front of the camera. What a great joke for everyone to have a good laugh. Well done random strangers, well done.
