Kansas is full of local farmers who do their best to bring fresh produce to the people. A farmers market is a surefire way to give them a chance to sell their wares without the struggle of going through a grocery store. Here at this market, you'll find all you could ever want fresh.
Ever since 1976, this market has been providing the public with fresh meat, eggs, produce, honey, wine, and hand crafted items from more than 100 vendors every week, rain or shine.
Every week at the market you might find something new that wasn't there before. They have loads of wares like fresh baked goods...
Who could go home without a homemade cinnamon roll or two when they look this good?
...to fresh fruits and vegetables right from the ground...
...to hand crafted soaps and other crafted products. There's really nothing you can't find here!
These soaps are made with beeswax, plus they look amazing!
Their Saturday market is at 824 New Hampshire St. from 7-11am (April 8th - August 26th).
Tuesday market is at 707 Vermont St. (Lawrence Public Library Outdoor Plaza) From 4-6pm (May 2nd - October 24th) There's plenty of time to arrange your visit!
