We all know that Atchison is filled with great people and great places, but this little farm is really full of wonder. I don't know about you, but I adore farm animals and hand made goods, and this farm has them both. Why don't you take a peek for yourself?
Welcome to Providence Hill Farm, where the most important guests, in my opinion, are the goats that make much of this farm possible. Nubian dairy goats are bred here to help supply milk as well as stand around and look adorable.
You've simply goat to see this place!
They have a lot of hand crafted products, such as lotions, lip balm, and my favorite, soap!
It's so pretty to see it swirled before it's cut!
Their soaps are made with goat's milk, which gives them a rich creaminess I wish all soap bars had.
This one's called Nag Champa, or "That 70's Soap". Can you guess why?
They also make homemade breads in their wood fire oven! It really goes great with the cheeses they also make right here at the farm. All you need is wine, right?
When they're not at home, they have shops open at the Atchison Farmer's Markets, where you can find all of their craft on display, but you'd better hurry! Stunning soaps sell quick!
These gorgeous four-legged friends and their human caretakers live at 8096 Pratt Rd in Atchison. Maybe you can take a tour, and learn how to milk a goat!
