There's something so inspiring and magical about watching the ground below from the skies above. Plenty of Kansans have fallen in love with flight and other means of exploring the skies, but others choose drone views for their everyday Kansas sights. Of course, those sights are always breathtaking no matter what angle you see them with. Let's take a look!

3. Our farming country
This video by YouTube channel KStatePolytechis an excellent example of an aerial view of all the work our farmers put in every year. For those of us who lived or still live surrounded by this daily, it's a calming scene.
4. Kanopolis State Park
This drone view by Dad's Eye View of one of our favorite state parks is a great way to capture the whole park as a whole. There's caves to explore, and trails to hike. Come visit sometime!
5. Monument Rocks and Castle Rock
This video by the YouTube Smithsonian Channel provides information as well as a beautiful sight of our beloved Monument Rocks and surrounding badlands. It's something no one outside of Kansas ever thinks is part of our state. We're just full of surprises!
6. A controlled fire
There's something about controlled fires that is just so calming to watch, unless you're up close. YouTuber RedHillsRancher captured this breathtaking video of a circle fire being closed, and the pillars of smoke rising up from the grass.
7. A tornado from the air in Hutch
YouTube user Justin Watkinsfilmed this amazing shot of a tornado when most of the town is most likely in shelters waiting for it to dissipate. It's amazing to see the difference you see in the sky with a simple head turn.
