You’ll walk along the dam at Geary County State Lake. The views of the lake along the trail are pretty spectacular.

Near the end of the hike, you’ll come to Geary Lake Falls. The falls can reach up to 35-feet tall and are absolutely mesmerizing. However, if there has been little rain, these falls may not be very impressive.

If you desire, you can hike below the falls to capture an even better view. However, be aware that this path is difficult for young children. It is a steep climb that can be muddy and wet.

As you explore this area, look for smaller falls near the trail. Just make sure to watch your step and avoid the mud.
