This 117-mile trail is the longest trail in Kansas and takes you through the gorgeous Flint Hills, multiple towns, and stunning landscapes.
The Flint Hills Nature Trail gives you a remarkable view of the beautiful Sunflower State. This trail travels across east-central Kansas and you’ll pass through many towns including Ottawa, Miller, and Council Grove. You can hop on and off the trail as you please.

The Flint Hill Nature Trail is not only the longest trail in Kansas, but it is also the seventh-longest rail trail in the United States. The trail is built along an old railroad corridor and the general route of the Santa Fe National Historic Trail.
