If you've seen most of our fishing lakes, Pillsbury Crossing, and others, you won't want to miss out on this underrated waterfall in Kansas either. This little park with a little trail has a perfect little waterfall to spend some time at while you're here. If you've ever gone online to look up something to the effect of "waterfalls near me in Kansas," well, you're in luck, because today your search ends for good.
Today's hiking adventure leads us to Indian Rock Trail, where a small yet underrated waterfall is only a short hike away.
This little waterfall doesn't have to be tall to impress or be relaxing, and we love it just like it is.
The trail is plenty exciting with stairs, rocky areas, and more during the 1.2 mile hike.
What's even better is that up on the trail you're climbing, you can look over Salina and enjoy a beautiful view of the sky above town.
Also while you're here, learn a little bit of history by the recognizable rock that marks where you can learn all about the native nations from this area.
Thanks to AllTrails, we have this great trail map that hopefully can help you navigate.
Dogs are allowed on the trail if leashed, and the trail isn't very mountain bike friendly. Otherwise, enjoy birdwatching, wildflowers, and of course the waterfall anytime from sunup to sundown.
