Lately, the weather's been bouncing back and forth between frigid cold and warm and breezy, and while that isn't strange for Indiana, it does mean spring is finally on its way. As temperatures warm even more, there are a variety of outdoor activities to explore, like this vibrant natural oasis.
The Quilt Gardens display across Elkhart County is one of the most beautiful Indiana traditions to explore every year.
Each year, gardens are grown during the springtime in quilt-like patterns to produce a truly showstopping natural display for all Hoosiers to enjoy. The event takes places across six major downtown areas, including Bristol, Elkhart, Nappanee, Goshen, Middlebury, and Wakarusa.
Viewing the Quilt Gardens is completely free and is an awesome way to spend a day off or weekend with family or friends.
This year's Quilt Gardens' event is rumored to be the best exhibition yet. That's because this year is the 10th Anniversary of the annual Quilt Gardens display. That means gardens are taking their already incredible designs and stepping it up a notch for a truly spectacular 2017 viewing.
In honor of the Quilt Gardens 10th Anniversary, there will be additional art exhibitions and celebratory events taking place in the downtown cities and towns in Elkhart County.
To make sure you don't miss any of the magic of the Quilt Gardens there are
