Westermeier Commons is situated within a 159-acre park known as Central Park in central Indiana. It is known for its diverse range of activities such as a dog park, playgrounds, hiking trails, and a giant splash pad.
The splash pad is designed to mesh with the surrounding nature. The spray features look like over-sized plants that you would find in the Midwest wilderness.
Each sprouting spigot looks like a cattail, flower, animal, or some other life form you might find in the forests of Indiana. The designers made them larger than life and colorful for this astounding splash pad.

Other things to enjoy around this splash pad are a boardwalk trail, outdoor classroom spaces, picnic shelters, restrooms, an open meadow, and more.
Whether you come to enjoy it yourself or just to bring your kids, this aquatic feature is an exciting sight to see and will certainly energize your senses.
Also at Westermeier Commons is a playground with a futuristic design that is wheelchair-accessible with ramps for getting around both levels of the jungle gym. There are places for quiet play as well at this diverse and inclusive fun zone.
