Let's be honest: despite the brutal heat and wicked humidity, Indiana is a pretty awesome place during the summer. There's so much to do and see and so many fun ways to cool off. Of course, not all great places are created equal. While lakes and parks are fantastic spots for day trips, they don't have quite as much appeal as a natural oasis. After scouring the state, we've found this stunning natural oasis that you absolutely have to check out before summer ends!
Located in the small town of Saint Paul, Indiana, is a hidden gem so big, you'll be shocked you've never heard of it. Here, visitors can experience the beauty and splendor of Hidden Paradise Campground.
Hidden Paradise sits atop 80 acres of woods, limestone cliffs, hills, and an amazing swimming quarry. With fishing, cabin rentals, camping, swimming, and more, this place is pretty close to paradise.
The main lure here is the amazing body of water, Dream Lake, which exists within a stunning quarry. Here, guests can enjoy a floating trampoline, rock climbing, slides, kayaking, canoeing, and even scub diving.
The campgrounds are also charming and packed with amenities including pull through sites, cabin rentals, hot showers, shelter housing, laundry facilities, and even WiFi.
Hiking is also available, and recommended. You'll simply love exploring these gorgeous grounds!
