Adventure comes in all shapes and sizes in the Prairie State. Whether you're a big kid or a little kid (or just a kid at heart), you'll find something outrageously fun to do at Volcano Falls, an adventure park in the suburban Illinois town of Loves Park.
A trip to this exciting attraction will transport you to a whole other world, and you'll never want to leave. Scroll on for more details about this must-visit fun park.
Located in a northeast suburb of Rockford, Volcano Falls is a family-friendly park with a little something for everyone.
Attractions are priced individually and hours of operation are weekdays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., with an extra hour on Fridays, and weekends from noon to 8 or 9 p.m.
Though there are many things to do here, the main attraction is mini golf where you'll find yourself playing in a fun tropical-themed world.
There are two separate courses: the Palm Course for $6.50 and the Volcano Course for $7.50. Each has 18 holes and mind-blowing decorations throughout.
There are also three different types of go-karts for any skill level and age. Additionally, guests can enjoy laser tag and a laser maze as well as batting cages.
Go-karts cost $7.50 or $8.50, depending on the track, for six minutes of racing. The cost for laser tag is $7.50, and 10 arcade credits will get you into the laser maze. Additionally, $5 gets you about 60 pitches in the batting cages.
Kids of all ages will especially enjoy the arcade with more than 50 games like air hockey, racing games, and other classics.
Don't forget to exchange your tickets at the prize counter for something fun to take home with you. Guests also enjoy the snack bar, which serves pizza, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, brats, ice cream, and more.
