Who doesn't love a nice piece of steak? Well, lucky for you, there are tons of wonderful steakhouses all over Illinois. But the ten restaurants we are going to feature do it best:
1. Gibson's (Chicago)
If people celebrate their wedding here, you know it's got to be great. Specialty: W.R's Chicago Cut.
2. Chama Gaucha (Downers Grove)
Who doesn't love a fantastic Brazilian steakhouse? Their meat is better because it has a nicer char.
3. Jameson's Charhouse (Bloomingdale)
Try the angus aged bone-in ribeye. You'll love this place for the delicious meat and great service.
4. Mariah's Steakhouse (Springfield)
Great care is put into picking the perfect steaks, and it shows. People rave about a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
5. 20's Hideout Steakhouse (Marion)
Okay, this place has the coolest name. It has great atmosphere, with live piano to boot. And you will love "Packin Heat," a strip steak with melted blue cheese.
6. David Burke's Primehouse (Chicago)
Many people consider David Burke's to be the best in Chicago, and one of the best in the country. How does this sound? A Wagyu Beef Sashimi on Himalayan rock salt.
7. Benny's Chop House (Chicago)
Perfectly cooked steaks, truffle fries, and banana cream pie makes this a meal for the ages. Think classic steak and potatoes place...but done perfectly, and totally upscale.
8. Niemerg's Steak House (Effingham)
Since 1978, Niemerg's has been serving up some awesome steaks. Great service (many people are lifers) and juicy, quality steaks make this the perfect dinner choice.
9. Sky Harbor Steakhouse (West Peoria)
These guys specialize in delicious, sizzling steaks. It's a classic Midwestern steakhouse done to perfection.
10. BoodaLu Steakhouse (Quincy)
Boy, check out the location. But this place is more than the nice view and great ambiance. You'll love any of their steaks, particularly the rib eye. And the creme brulee is phenomenal!
