Jonah's Seafood House & 2601 Oyster Bar has been in business since 1986. It lies along the Illinois River just north of the center of the state and is known for serving the freshest fish, oysters, and lobster around.

Fresh seafood is flown in daily to this seafood house. Menu items include shrimp, lobster, crab, grouper, mahi-mahi, salmon, ahi tuna, and starters like egg rolls, deviled eggs, calamari, chowder, cheese plates, and much more.

The oyster bar menu consists of flatbreads, Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, crawfish, shrimp, and fish, in addition to oysters. With an ever-changing menu, you never know what you might find.

Hours vary by which part of Jonah's you wish to visit. The dining room is open between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. The oyster bar is open at 11 a.m. "til late," and the market and bakery is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
