It’s that wonderful time of year again for one of the most quintessential autumn traditions: a-MAZE-ing corn mazes. As usual, Idaho's beautiful rural landscape makes the perfect place for local farms to work their artistry and magic after the summer corn harvest, transforming expansive fields into mesmerizing labyrinths to explore and enjoy. Whether you're looking for a spooky challenge to tackle under the moonlight, a family-friendly place to explore with the kids, or a "corn maze near me" maize maze with enough extra activities for a day-long adventure, Idaho has the perfect place. So grab a camera and get ready to explore some of the best corn mazes in Idaho.
1. Lowe Family Farmstead (The Farmstead), Kuna
Get lost this fall in Southern Idaho at the Treasure Valley's largest corn maze, which has even been named one of the country's best. And it's easy to see why! The maze design at the Lowe Family Farmstead changes every year. In fact, one year it was cut into the design of Jimmy Fallon's head - because why not? Alongside this epic Idaho corn maze, attractions include a corn cob beach, playgrounds, a potato sack slide, hay rides, pumpkin patch, multiple train rides, and plenty of other festive activities for the kids. And yes... you'll also find a "Field of Screams," too!
2. Quey's Maze, Mountain Home
Quey's Maze in Mountain Home has been operating since 2007. This vibrant family farm and maze opens offers a multitude of events throughout the fall, including their renowned sunflower festival, pumpkin patch, and corn maze! Hay rides, bale mazes, bale pyramids, food trucks, and a straw trampoline are all offered in addition to the main corn maze. Quey's typically opens its maze in October.
3. Burley Straw Maze, Burley
It's not corn, but this fall maze in Southern Idaho offers just as much seasonal fun as its traditional counterparts. Small and rustic, the Burley Straw Maze is made with massive hay bales stacked on top of each other - approximately 8 feet tall. Of course, this winding, twisting challenge may be the heart of the farm, but you'll also find a corn pit, a playground, a giant jump pad, and a pumpkin patch - train ride included! Weekends in October will feature a haunted straw maze as well. This fall favorite typically runs from the end of September through Halloween Eve.
4. Magic Valley Corn Maze, Hansen
Southern Idaho's renowned corn maze and Haunted Forest returns every year with an eerie cackle. You'll also find a corn cannon, plenty of gaming and photo ops, and even paintball. Traditional souls can stick with the daytime maze and abundance of fall activities, but souls with a penchant for a hair-raising good time will have a bevy of spooky delights to experience after dark.
5. Tubbs' Berry Farm, Twin Falls
Tubbs' Berry Farm is a local favorite in the Magic Valley known throughout the year for their juicy strawberries and raspberries, but come fall their epic straw maze and large pumpkin patch will make a picture-perfect outing.
6. Wild Adventure Corn Maze, Idaho Falls
Home of the biggest corn maze in the region, kids of all ages will love this family adventure in eastern Idaho! Wild Adventure Corn Maze boasts a 13-acre corn maze and 6 miles of trails that include both games and scavenger hunts. Outside the maze, jump pads, rock walls, corn cannons, slides, ziplines, and SO. MUCH. MORE. await! Before the maze fun begins, you can also pop on over to enjoy Sunflower Days.
7. Rexburg Straw Maze & Haunted Forest, Rexburg
Toss those images of tiny kiddie mazes out of your head! Rexburg's original straw maze is a fantastic place to explore during the day, but by night, this family-friendly maze transforms into a haunted forest that is nothing short of awesome. The Rexburg Straw Maze typically runs from mid-September through Halloween (plus the haunted straw maze as well!), but the Haunted Forest is an October-only addition for spooky season fans.
8. Swore Farms, Pocatello
Test your wits and sense of direction in this family-run Idaho corn maze. At Swore Farms you'll also have the opportunity to take art workshops, check out the pumpkin patch, and enjoy a cozy hay ride, alongside activities like face painting, a wheat pool, pumpkin games, and more. But don't forget about all the fresh produce they have available! For the romantics, night walks through the corn maze are available as well (don't worry, nothing spooky!).

9. Linder Farms, Meridian - CLOSED
Editor's Note: Sadly, Linder Farms is permanently closed.
The renowned location of Meridian's fantastic Zombie Acres, this maze offers three paths that range from a quarter mile to over three miles, with a separate trail of terror who need something a little more than zombie blasting and corn labyrinths.
10. Twin Oaks Farms, Eagle - CLOSED
Editor's Note: Sadly, as of 2022, Twin Oaks Farms has closed its maze and pumpkin patch doors for good.
Twin Oaks is something truly special. One of the last remaining small farms in the Boise metro area, this corn maze also offers haunted attractions nightly for the spookily-inclined, alongside an adorable petting farm.
Getting lost has never been so fun! You'll have a blast exploring these picture-perfect Idaho corn mazes and enjoying the bevy of local farm activities.
