While mainland America experiences all things autumn, including apple orchards, haunted attractions, fall foliage, and chilly weather, those of us who call Hawaii home can get a little bummed when the only seasonal change is a drop in the ocean temperature or Starbucks cup print. In a year like 2020, the change of seasons is something we especially look forward to, and there’s no better place to celebrate fall than at Waimanalo Country Farms. We typically love their sunflower field and harvest festival, but things are looking a bit different this year.
Nestled at the back of a residential area between the breathtaking Waimanalo Beach and the towering Ko’olau Mountains on the southeastern tip of Oahu, Waimanalo Country Farms is a gorgeous slice of paradise.
And while our annual pilgrimage to this autumnal oasis can’t happen as we hoped, the farm is offering a unique activity for Oahu families: a drive-through pumpkin patch!
