While Georgia has a ton of waterfall hikes to try, we recommend this underrated trail in Walker County. Lula Falls in Georgia is a truly spectacular waterfall. The 3.5-mile classic loop trail will give you everything you need to see along the way.
Lula Lake Land Trust in Georgia was founded in 1994 with an aim to preserve national and historic landscapes, with a focus on conservation.
Unlike the public parks in Georgia, Lula Lake is available to access on what they call Open Gate Days - the first and last weekends of each month.
On these days, visitors can spend the day hiking and exploring the beauty of Lula Falls in Georgia.
There are three different hiking options, but the greatest one to kick off the adventure would be the 3.5-mile classic loop hike.
The classic loop hike will take you to the top of the nearby bluff for stellar views, then down to the waterfall, which is a pretty magical experience.
From here, you can take the Lula Falls Trail which will take you to the bottom of Lula Falls where you can marvel in all its glory.
Reservations to visit Lula Lake Land Trust are required, and there is a $16.00 Conservation Use Fee per reservation. While this may seem a bit pricey, 100 percent of the proceeds go back into the preservation of Lula Lake.
Plan your trip soon and reserve a spot to hike the nature trails to the stunning Lula Falls in Georgia.
