Ahh, dining al fresco. Everyone loves it, and yet, unfortunately, it can only really be enjoyed for less than half of the year due to temperature restrictions. However, that is more than enough time to dine out under the stars at some of the top outdoor dining restaurants in the state. We've gathered together a few of our favorites, in hopes that you have a magical time.

1. The Mill Kitchen and Bar— 590 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075

This outdoor dining experience truly is magical. From the moment you step outside the ambiance is set with the patio fireplace, blazing up some heat to warm those chilly nights.

2. Wahoo! Grill— 1042 W College Ave, Decatur, GA 30030

While the folks who visit Wahoo! Grill rave about the food, the outdoor dining experience is probably worth mentioning as well. Not only can you dine al fresco during the summer, but they even have a few heat lamps to make it possible during those colder months.

3. Anis Café & Bistro

When you think about ultimate outdoor dining, Anis Cafe and Bistro should come to mind. Not only is the food beautifully prepared and delicious, but the outdoor patio is wonderfully bohemian and full of culture.

here is a beautiful elegance to grace 1720 and is perfectly highlighted by their outdoor dining area. It's the type of restaurant that is equally as beautifully dining during the day outside, as it is at night.

5. Atmosphere— 1620 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30324

Many patrons recommend Atmosphere for its romantic ambiance and outdoor, candlelit vibes, and we couldn't agree more. It's intimate and quaint, not to mention serving up some delicious French fare.

6. Canoe— 4199 Paces Ferry Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339

This outdoor hot spot has been around for quite some time. It's a staple in Atlanta, and with good reason. If you had an outdoor water view from the bar, would you ever want to go anywhere else either?

7. Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails— 800 Mayfield Rd, Milton, GA 30009

When you have a banquet-style seating like the one Milton's has for their Harvest Dinners, it's hard not to name this the top al fresco dining experience in the entire state.

8. The Rooftop Restaurant at Ocean Lodge— 935 Beachview Dr, St Simons Island, GA 31522

The view....the decor...the live music—all add to the perpetually perfect ambiance of outdoor dining. It's true many people use The Rooftop at Ocean Lodge for special events and weddings, but even a romantic evening out would be enough to experience it all.

9. Cha-Bella— 102 E Broad St, Savannah, GA 31401

If it wasn't enough to have a romantic al fresco dining experience fixed with candles and long drapes, they also serve farm-to-table at Cha-Bella. Everything fresh, all the time. Can we say win-win?

10. Front Page News— 1104 Crescent Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30309

When you pair traditional Cajun and creole fare with an incredible outdoor dining setup, you get Front Page News. It's a feel-good type of place, where you can meet some friends, have some drinks, and enjoy being outdoors.

11. Park Café— 3579 W Lawrenceville St, Duluth, GA 30096

Sitting under a giant tree and snacking on some Southern eats has never looked so good. It’s a more contemporary take on classic Southern cuisine, with a cooler, more relaxed outdoor atmosphere.
