Wander through various fairytales in a colorful set of displays at Fairyland Caverns in Georgia.
Fairyland Caverns in Rock City, Georgia highlights some of the most whimsical scenes straight out of the very best fairytales.
The idea was created by one of Rock City’s founders, Frieda Utermoehlen Carter, who cherished old European folklore and fairytales.
Her husband hired a sculptor to create scenes from some of the most popular fairytales and moved these scenes in 1947 into what is now known as Fairyland Caverns.
