Animal lovers adore getting in touch with their wild sides, and one of the best ways to do that is to check out a zoo or farm in Georgia. One underrated little zoo that you may have never heard of is the Iron P Homestead Zoo in Hogansville, GA. The zoo houses around 50 different animal species, and a Wildlife Walkabout allows you to explore trails through the zoo and check them all out from a distance.

General admission tickets include access to The Petting Corner and The Petting Barn, where you can interact with and pet domestic species like alpacas and donkeys.
The walk-in bird aviary is always a fun experience, and you can purchase bird sticks to raise your chances of making a few friends!
