Maybe your summer schedule is filling up fast...or maybe you're still looking for some fun things to keep your kids busy this season. Just in case, we have an out-of-this-world activity that is sure to be the highlight of the year. This spectacular penguin adventure in Florida is an experience that can't be missed, and many residents and visitors don't even know it exists! Check it out...
Chances are, you probably don’t have an opportunity to hang out with real life African penguins every day.
But at The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, visitors can enjoy a backstage pass filled with African penguins in one of the most unique summer experiences around.
This 30-minute behind the scenes adventure provides fun and education in a truly special way.
Led by an experienced penguin biologist, a typical backstage pass penguin adventure may include a chance to touch the penguins, watch them swim and waddle up close, and enjoy the interaction pool.
The biologist will provide important information about these gentle creatures, as well as answer any questions visitors may have.
Curious as to what goes into the care for these spectacular birds? This experience will answer all your questions and more.
You may even get the chance to catch a glimpse into the feeding habits, as well as what these guys LOVE to chow down on.
These African penguins have their own penguin suite and are used to a more temperate environment, so you don’t need to bring your parkas.
Tickets for the Penguins Backstage Pass must be purchased in person at the Aquarium during the visit at any of the kiosks or ticket booths.
Enjoy the day with these truly remarkable birds during the Backstage Pass Penguin experience at The Florida Aquarium.
