When it comes to getting completely pampered, there is no beating a day at the spa, which -- fortunately for us Denverites -- is easy to come by here in the Mile High City. However, if you want to feel pampered AND improve your health, run (don't walk) to this incredible salt cave in Denver:
Situated in Denver's Sunnyside neighborhood, RockSalt Spa is Denver's first salt therapy spa that offers guests with the benefits of Halotherapy (the "use of salt vapor to treat respiratory ailments, skin irritations, and combat mental lethargy").
How does it work? Guests sit in one of the comfortable chairs in one of the beautiful and relaxing salt rooms (which includes both quiet-meditative and family rooms) and let the therapeutic salts do their "negative ion environmental" magic.

There must be something in the water.
The Glenwood Hot Springs pool has been a destination of healing and relaxation since 1888 and is still recommended for a variety of ailments.
Soak it all in.
The gigantic main pool has a temperature of 90-93 degrees and is filled with 15 minerals that give your body a natural boost. Add to that your raised body temperature which will help eliminate toxins, and you will find yourself relaxed and renewed.
Big Medicine.
The Nomadic Ute tribe were the earliest people to soak in these healing waters which they named, "Yampah" translating to "Big Medicine" because of the therapeutic qualities. In the early 1880s, Walter Horace, James Devereux, and a group of British investors purchased the Yampah Hot Springs as well as 10 surrounding acres. In 1888, the "Spa of the Rockies" was born.
Not your average hot tub.
Harnessing the 3.5 million gallons of naturally hot mineral water that flows from the Yampah spring source each day creates a magical experience. In addition to the large main pool, there is also a hot tub like therapy pool that rests at 104 degrees. At 100 ft by 40 ft, its probably bigger than any hot tub you have ever soaked in before.
