Located in Adams County near DIA (Denver International Airport) lies a colorful, happy, and humongous field of giant sunflowers that are sure to bring a smile to anyone's face!
Every year, photographers, newly engaged couples, and outdoor enthusiasts flock to these Denver sunflower fields to take pictures. The field is accessible by taking Pena Boulevard to 56th Ave and heading 5+ miles past the E-470 exit.
Since there are no types of privacy restrictions posted on the land (as of the time this article was written), this has become a popular destination for pictures, walks, and decompressing after a long day. However, someone obviously does own this land, so if you are planning to visit please be respectful and avoid picking sunflowers, trampling over them or leaving the area any different than you found it.
Sunflowers do not typically bloom until July through mid-September., so plan to visit accordingly!
