Fleetwood Pond is located just off the trail loops and is a popular site for fishing.
Prime Hook is only about 30 miles from Dover, but you'll feel like you're worlds away from civilization as you enjoy the peace and quiet that the marshes provide.
Sunsets at Prime Hook are incredible! The colors reflected in the water look like a work of art. You're sure to see birds flying back to their nests to roost for the night.
Nearly 300 species of birds travel through Prime Hook each year. The refuge also houses various mammalian and amphibian species. Nature lovers of all ages can observe plenty of beloved species on hikes through the trails.
