There are three Wicked Tulips Flower Farms -- two in Rhode Island and one in Connecticut. The Wicked Tulips Flower Farm in Connecticut is located at 382 CT-164 in Preston.
Wicked Tulips Flower Farm is best known for their locations in Rhode Island, which are the largest tulip farms in New England. The Rhode Island farm typically features varieties that bloom earlier in the season.
This Connecticut tulip farm, tucked away in Preston, is in the southeast corner of the state and easily accessible from Rhode Island. The varieties planted here tend to bloom a little later, so you've still got plenty of time to start preparing for a trip!
For the price of an adult admission, you get to pick and take home ten tulips.
Want even more colorful blooms? You can pick additional tulips at just $1 each.
The farm has a Bulb Tent where you can pick up bulbs to bring back home with you to plant your own tulip garden.
You can also purchase bulbs from the farm's website. Choose your favorite color or opt for a variety pack with an array of surprise colors.
The flowers planted at the tulip farm in Connecticut tend to bloom in late April or early May. But believe me, you'll want to make visiting Wicked Tulips Flower Farm a priority this spring!
