Every weekend, and even on weekdays too, you'll find nature enthusiasts exploring Connecticut's parks, forests, and beaches. Our small state has no shortage of natural beauty to discover. For those of you who have a weakness for waterfalls, Enders State Forest is one location that can't be missed. Featuring an easy trail to a quintuple waterfall, this treasure nestled in the woods is a sight to behold!
Enders State Forest is a 2,100-acre woodland paradise located in Granby off of Route 219. It is most well-known for its five (or six depending on how you count them) breathtaking waterfalls.
Begin your waterfall chasing adventure with a short 3/4-mile hike following the purple blazes through the woods and down to the water's edge.
This magical spot has five different waterfalls as you travel down the stream. Discover plunges, horsetails, cascades, and slides.
Each waterfall is unique in appearance ranging from six feet to 30 feet in height. Visiting all five waterfalls is required to make the most of this hike!
The third waterfall (pictured below) is the most heavily photographed of the quintuple falls. You'll definitely want to bring your camera for this journey.
