Can you believe that we are in the middle of November and still haven't had any snow? What crazy bizzaro world is this?! While I love snow and cooler temperatures, I have to admit that I am enjoying this unseasonably warm weather... why? Because -- like many of you -- I am a mom to young kids who love to be outside! If you have little tykes who love the great outdoors, consider taking them to this magical Colorado playground that's straight out of a storybook.
Also known as "Peter Pan Park," the impressive Westminster Center Park is a 10-acre park that features wide open spaces, a paved walking path, and an imaginative playground inspired by - you guessed it - Peter Pan!
Featuring numerous storybook scenes like the Neverwood Forest...
...Darling family home...
...and even Captain Hook's pirate ship, this park and playground is truly a whimsical delight that is sure to be a favorite for children and parents alike!
In addition to the magical playground equipment, Westminster Center Park is also home to a large splash pad that is perfect for cooling off during those hot summer months.
(By far my toddler's favorite place to play at Peter Pan Park!)
Named one of the "50 Best Playgrounds in America" by Early Childhood Education Zone, Westminster Center Park is open year round and offers additional amenities like picnic tables, restrooms, and even a beautiful amphitheater.
