In the fall, there is nothing like being outside to enjoy the cooler temperatures, see the changing leaves, and, of course, pick your own fresh fruit! While there are several great places to pick your own fruit, flowers, and pumpkins around Colorado, our favorite spot of all has to be the beautiful Fruit Basket Orchards:
Located in Grand Junction, Fruit Basket Orchards is a charming 7.5-acre u-pick farm that has a little something for everyone!
Open from mid-June through November, the Fruit Basket almost always has a new type of fruit ready to harvest, including numerous varieties of apples...
Nothing says fall quite like a delicious apple, which can typically be picked late August through November.
...Juicy peaches...
These sweet treats are at their peak from early June through mid-September.
...Raspberries...
When is raspberry season? It typically runs mid-July through the first frost.
...And cherries.
