1.) Conundrum Hot Springs
Dip into this warm pool of therapeutic water and feel all of your stresses slowly melt away. This is the perfect spot to really relax and unwind. And you can burn off a ton of stress on the hike to get here. Not to mention those stunning views!
2.) Telluride/Mountain Village gondola
Leave your cares at the bottom of the mountain as you slowly climb to the top of the world. You’re going to want to make sure the camera is out for your ride, because you won’t want to forget a minute of it. For ticket prices and hours of operation, their website will keep you up to date on all the information you need.
3.) Denver City Park
No time to escape? Take a break at Denver City Park and enjoy this peaceful oasis in the city. You’ll forget about the hustle and bustle of the city streets as you take a moment to let surrounding nature chill you out. This city park actually has over 300 acres, so there’s plenty of places to explore!
4.) Maroon Bells
This view alone can make you forget all your worries and cares. Touted as the most photographic spot in all of Colorado, the sights alone will make you melt. Pack a picnic and spend the day gazing in awe at the scenery around you! This is one of the most scenic and quiet places in Colorado.
5.) Outdoor Yoga or Pilates
You will feel nothing but shanti after stretching atop one of Colorado's tallest peaks. Get on one of the hiking trails in Colorado and make your way to the top of these incredible mountains. Stretching will feel real good after a hike like that!
6.) Garden of the Gods
Stroll along the Garden for a relaxing walk that you'll never forget. This impressive park is one of the most visited areas in the Pikes Region, and it’s clear to see why. There’s so many fun things to do outdoors in Colorado, and Garden of the Gods frequently tops everyone’s bucket list.
7.) Pueblo Riverwalk
Though not completely natural, the Pueblo Riverwalk is still guaranteed to give you a little relaxing vacation from your every day (especially when you go after dark.) Take an excursion boat down the river, or just stroll along slowly and listen to the water lapping against the sidewalk. Hard not to relax when you’re surrounded by such beautiful scenery.
8.) Picnic on the Plains

Although the state is known for its beautiful mountains, the Great Plains cover the eastern half of Colorado. There are many wonderful things the High Plains are known for!
