Paradise Cove is part of Guffey Gorge Day Use Area. This area is located on Four Mile Creek about ten miles east of Guffey, Colorado. Just over a 1-hour drive from Colorado Springs, Paradise Cove is the perfect day trip.
To reach the swimming hole, you will hike 1/2 mile from the Guffey Gorge trailhead. While the hike is short, it can be steep, so keep that in mind when planning your visit.
After your hike, you will be rewarded with the sight of a stunning pond surrounded by towering granite cliffs.
The pond is fed by a waterfall, and the water is quite cold but refreshing on a hot summer's day!
For those looking to cool off, a dip in the swimming hole is divine. It's the perfect way to spend a fun day with friends or family. While adventurous visitors find spots to jump off the cliffs into the pond, doing so can be very dangerous, so proceed with caution and at your own risk.
If the water is too cold for you, don't despair! There are some great spots to relax pond-side where you can watch your friends splash and play, or just relax beside one of the most stunning swimming holes in Colorado!
