Royal Gorge. Red Cliff. Cherry Creek. While Colorado may not have as many bridges as other places, the ones we do have are nothing short of magnificent. If you are looking for a bridge that is not only stunning but boasts incredible views of Colorado's vibrant fall colors, you are going to want to get to the must-see Seven Bridges as soon as possible:
Nestled away in the Cheyenne Canyon near Colorado Springs is the must-take Seven Bridges Trail, a nearly four-mile out-and-back path that is full of scenic surprises!
Rated as moderate, Seven Bridges is a popular trail year-round but is a can't-miss during these lovely fall months, thanks to the cooler temperatures and amazing surroundings.
Featuring a former railroad bed, mature trees, and a tranquil stream, the Seven Bridges Trail is arguably the most beautiful hike in the region, made even more perfect by...
...its namesake bridges.
While footbridges are always rustic and charming, Seven Bridges manages to go above and beyond, thanks to the vibrant colors of the surrounding trees and shrubs.
Can you see why we recommend hiking Seven Bridges in the fall?
Please note: Seven Bridges is open year-round but is best used from March until November.
The Seven Bridges Trail can be accessed by taking West Cheyenne Road to the Starsmore Discovery Center entrance and driving toward the Helen Hunt Falls Visitor's Center. Once you reach the Visitor's Center parking lot, you can park and walk up the Gold Camp road to the Seven Bridges trailhead.
