1. Eldorado Springs Swimming Pool (Eldorado Springs)
Featuring waters fed from an artisan spring, Eldorado Springs Swimming Pool boasts both all-natural (and stunning) blue waters AND a comfortable temperature of 76 degrees (which is warmed to 80 by the pool’s heating system). Like most pools, this Boulder-area treasure includes a fun slide and high diving board, but also jaw-dropping canyon views that you aren’t used to seeing whilst swimming!

2. Medano Creek (Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve)
Tucked away within the Great Sand Dunes, Medano Creek is a cool and refreshing seasonal stream that emerges in late March to early April, peaks in June, and then disappears for another year come August. Brought on by snowpack and rains, Medano Creek — like the Great Sand Dunes themselves — is a true gem that features fast-moving, yet shallow waters that are perfect for both little kids and kids at heart.

3. Boulder Creek (Boulder)
Welcome to Boulder Creek: a popular destination for biking (via the surrounding Boulder Creek Path), fishing, swimming, and tubing. Located in — you guessed it — Boulder, Boulder Creek was named one of the "10 best lazy rivers for tubing in the U.S." by Men’s Journal and features a slow and steady stream of cool water that is perfect for cruising via an inner tube.

4. Great Wolf Lodge (Colorado Springs)
Located in Colorado Springs, the Great Wolf Lodge is a large and newly opened family resort that features Colorado's only indoor water park! AHH… Welcome to Conundrum Hot Springs, AKA Heaven on Earth. The natural infinity pools offer warm, relaxing waters, as well as some of the most incredible views you have ever encountered. The trip to the Springs may seem like a long, somewhat treacherous one, but soaking in the waters of this paradise pool is something that everyone should try at least once.
