We are very lucky to be in California for a variety of reasons. As our lives get more stressful, nature will always play a calming role. Perhaps soaking and enjoying California hot springs and natural pools may be the best relief. If you're curious to explore not too far from the city, you'll find an incredible spring-fed pool. Let's dip our toes in!
Orr is located at 13201 Orr Springs Road, Ukiah, 95482.
Enjoy the spring-fed pool at Orr for a refreshing and and fascinating experience.
Orr Hot Springs is a peaceful resort tucked in the rolling hills of the Mendocino Coastal Range. The pool is an area where springs flourish on 27 acres at the headwaters of Big River.
The pool is a 15’ x 60’ cold pool, which is built directly into the rock of the hillside.
The fresh and rejuvenating waters of the hillside feed the pool. There are several small springs, unaltered by chemicals, that flow directly into the pool.
This is a really natural cold pool, perfect for swimming. However, the pool is best used after the saunas and hot tubs at Orr Resort.
There are beautiful gardens and lush greenery around Orr. Also, you can even go hiking in the Montgomery Woods.
Outside of the spring-fed pool, Orr has outdoor pools and baths that are fed by the hot springs and tempered by the river water. You’ll find a hot soak in one of the communal soaks clocking in at 107!
There are a handful of private baths at Orr, along with a sauna and relaxing steam room.
The spring-fed pool is in a quiet corner of Orr. If you're seeking hot therapeutic waters and a cold pool then this is the place for you.
