June Lake is one of Northern California's best-kept secrets. Many people who visit the area are blown away by the beauty and it's really hard to believe that more people don't know about this place. The quaint town of June Lake makes for a great base camp while you explore the area.
You'll find the trail just off of Highway 395. A small section of California State Route 158 loops off of the highway and spans 16 miles before returning.
