The garden is an official display garden for the All-American Rose Selections (AARS) and it was even named as "America's Best Rose Garden" by the same organization.
As a display garden, it receives AARS award-winning roses before official public release.
Admission into the garden is free of charge and it's open all year round.
There's hardly a day when a species of rose isn't in full bloom. However, May is widely regarded as the best time to visit since many of the roses are at their most beautiful stage during this time.
