At Vision Quest Ranch in Monterey County, these majestic animals will walk right up to your front door and say good morning.

The accommodations are all safari themed, but no camping out or roughing it is required.

Day visitors can come and see the animals, but if you book a room through the "A Vision Quest Safari" style Bed & Breakfast, you will be fully immersed in the Safari experience for the evening.

You'll be served a continental breakfast by the elephants in the morning (really, the Ranch's staff members bring your food, and the curious elephants who accompany them might try to sneak a bite or two of your meal).

There are no other dining opportunities on site for humans, though, so you might want to get dinner in town the night before.

The Ranch is also home to more animals than just elephants!

The large cats and other predators are exclusively handled by professionals.

But you are allowed to get up close and personal with several of the gentler exotic animals.

There is such a wide variety of creatures that you will never know which species you'll meet next.

Like this guy! We're not really sure what kind of creature he is, but we definitely want to go meet him and find out.

Some animals you even get to hold or pet.

And others you can take for a little stroll around the park.

Despite all these crazy and unique experiences to be had at Vision Quest Ranch, hands down the coolest one is the breakfast with the elephants.
