Founders Jim and Lynda Taylor and winemaker Ryan Taylor work hard to produce some of the best wine in all of Placer County. The selection of wine is vast, with plenty of award-winning reds and whites to choose from.
The tasting room is open Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It's just $9 to taste all available wines, and wine is available to purchase both by the bottle and the case.
The wine cave is another great feature at Mt. Vernon Winery. Filled with oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, the winery often hosts Wine Cave Dinners in which a five to six-course menu is paired perfectly with hand-selected wines.
