In the late spring and summer, there’s a lavender festival in Southern California that will transport you to purple fields of fresh lavender. Each summer, the 123 Farm at Highland Springs Ranch & Inn hosts a lavender festival to celebrate the beginning of the lavender harvest season. It allows visitors a chance to come and walk through the fragrant fields, enjoy food from the custom lavender menu, and participate in different cultural activities out on the farm.
Welcome to the lavender fields at 123 Farm. There are over 20 acres of lavender grown here each season, making it the largest organic lavender farm in Southern California.
For centuries, lavender has been used for natural remedies and for its pleasant scent. Once harvested, the plants are used to make various products such as essential oils and teas.
Reserve a ticket and take a walk through the fields. You'll walk between rows of fresh lavender that smells heavenly.
If you’re hungry after your tour, the farm serves a lavender-inspired menu that features freshly harvested organic lavender. They have everything from a lavender veggie wrap to a lavender cheesecake. Yum!
Dried lavender makes a great decoration for your home. The arrangements below are Grosso lavender, which has long and fragrant stems and is great for drying and making crafts.
In addition to touring the fields, there are also crafts and activities like making lavender wands or taking a wagon tour. No matter what you choose, it’s sure to be a fun-filled day!
