Sherwood Gardens in Maryland is a free-admission garden that dates all the way back to 1920. Every year, approximately 80,000 tulip bulbs are planted, making for a wondrous spring display. It's one of the prettiest gardens to visit in Maryland.
When the weather begins to warm, head to this spot and explore the six acres of endless blooms.
Be sure to bring your camera, since you'll spot nearly every color you can imagine.
This spot is perfect for any age, as children will love running around the green space, and adults can take a break among the antique benches throughout the area.
