Waterfront destinations are popular in the Arkansas summer, and it’s no wonder. We need those cool lakes and roaring rivers to keep us all from sweating every second of every sweltering day. But where do you go to eat on these waterfront adventures? No problem there. We’ve found nine of the best waterfront restaurants in the Natural State. Whether you’re out on the lake or out on the town, you’ll find a good place to satisfy your tastebuds while you enjoy the many waters of Arkansas.
1. Bean Palace Restaurant at War Eagle Mill (Rogers)
Set beside War Eagle Creek, Bean Palace is located on the third floor of War Eagle Mill. At Bean Palace you’ll find dishes made from the organic grains milled at War Eagle. In addition to those foods, you’ll also find local meats and vegetables. It’s a real farm-to-table and mill-to-table restaurant.
2. Janssen’s Lakefront Restaurant (Edgemont)
Janssen’s Lakefront Restaurant sits on the shores of Greers Ferry Lake, and it’s spectacular. The food and location are so great you might have a bit of a wait time, but rest assured—the wait will definitely be worth it. You can arrive by car, of course, but you can also arrive by boat as there’s a place to dock right outside.
3. Fisherman’s Wharf Steak and Seafood (Hot Springs)

6. Cajun’s Wharf (Little Rock)
