Welcome to the beautiful Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, a gorgeous oasis tucked on the east side of Lake Fayetteville.
With 44 acres of tranquil space, this sanctuary features twelve themed gardens as well as a native butterfly house. It's a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year.
Moreover, there are lots of serene ponds, art installations, an adorable playground, footbridges, walking trails, and so much more.
Of course, there are thousands of gorgeous blooms scattered throughout the gardens. Learn about local flora and then try to spot them throughout the garden.
They include tulips, roses, ornamental trees, coneflower, hibiscus, and zinnias, just to name a few. Naturally, spring is the best time of year to witness these vibrant flowers.

But there’s one family-friendly event that you shouldn’t miss, and that’s the annual Earth Day Festival. It’s the most colorful spring festival in Arkansas, and you’ll absolutely love it. It's fun for the whole family and everyone will find something to love.
This one-day festival will be held on April 21, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and it’s free for members to attend. If you’re not a member, tickets will go on sale on March 21 and can be purchased online or at the gate.
You can expect thrilling games, live entertainment, delicious food, booths, arts and crafts, live animals, and so much more. It's a one-of-a-kind experience and it brings great joy to the community.
Pack a picnic, bring your chairs or blankets, and get ready to have lots of springtime fun frolicking among lovely, vibrant blooms.
