It is no secret that Arkansas has a lot of farms scattered throughout the state. And many of them are family-owned and have been serving our communities for decades. But there is one farm located in Cabot Arkansas that serves more than just fresh produce. It makes the yummiest strawberry shortcake in the Ozarks. This sweet treat is the best dessert in the world, and once you try it, you'll leave the farm with a big smile on your face.
Holland Bottom Farm is a family-owned farm that has been growing fresh fruits and vegetables for about 40 years.
The farm is open daily and has a wide variety of freshly picked fruits and vegetables for sale.
The season runs from April to October, and the fruits and veggies will change throughout the year.
However, while in season, you can purchase tomatoes, peppers, squash, peaches, blueberries, blackberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, and more.
The farm also sells homemade jams and raw honey harvested from the hives on the farm.
But what keeps people lined up outside, are the sweetest strawberries in Arkansas.
The kids love biting into those delicious freshly picked berries. They can’t get enough of them.
Initially, Holland Farm began as a u-pick operation, but in 1996 decided to change to a pre-picked strawberry farm instead.
You can purchase strawberries by the box or by the quart. However, the season has come to an end, but no worries, there are plenty of other fruits and veggies still available.
While the strawberries are delicious, most people can’t get enough of the yummy strawberry shortcake dessert.
The shortcake sundae is the best in the world, and the adorable strawberry-shaped cookie is like icing on the cake.
Bring the entire family and sit outside and enjoy this delicious treat.
It’s guaranteed to put a huge smile on your kids’ faces.
The farm is a great place for the entire family, and as their mission states, the farm delivers “flavor, freshness, and a smile - everyday, all day!”
