You can expect to find just about anything at the Fayetteville Farmers Market. This award-winning, year-round event is one of the largest of its kind in Arkansas. Let's pack our reusable bags and see what sort of vendors we can find at market day.
Welcome to the Fayetteville Farmers Market! They've been serving Northwest Arkansas since 1973.
This lovely affair is located at the downtown square. They've been voted "Favorite Large Farmers Market" and made the top 5 in American Farmland Trust’s contest, "America’s Favorite Farmers Market."
This unbelievably large farmers market does have an expansive rainbow of produce, but that's certainly not the only reason to come to market day.
Not only does the market have up to 70 vendors that take up the entire square, they also have the most impressive hours. They're open three days a week! Tues & Thurs 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM and Sat 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Besides the farm staples, you can expect to find jams, plants like herbs and flowers, and locally-raised meats.
Everything offered at the market is made withing 60 miles of Fayetteville.
There's also dozens of craft vendors that specialize in everything from greeting cards and bird houses to furniture and clothing.
Local musicians will put a little skip in your step as you shop around.
There's no need to fret if all the veggie shopping is making you hungry, an entire side of Block Avenue is dedicated to food trucks.
Little ones can enjoy giant bubbles, face painting, and stuffed animal vendors.
Fire-eaters, juggles, and clowns have been known to appear as well. There's always something new and different for kids to enjoy at the market.
It's not surprising to walk passed weavers, whittlers, or painters while roaming the square.
You may even meet a new best friend.
One of the best things about this market is that it's open all year.
Winter season just condenses the hours to Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and moves the market indoors to the Ozark Natural Foods located at 1554 N College Ave.
No matter what you're in the market for, you can feel good about supporting all of the local businesses.
We highly recommend taking advantage of the Fayetteville Farmers Market’s interactive vendor map.
