Our favorite botanical garden hosts a unique celebration that families shouldn't miss. The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will be having their Firefly Fling on July 21st, 2018. This enchanting festival brings together fairies and fireflies for a magical evening of activities that will delight the whole family. Let's see what festivities will be happening during this upcoming midsummer's night.
Arkansas' beloved botanical garden is an enchanting place to visit any day of the week.
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks (BGO) is open daily from 9 am - 5 pm and is located at
4703 N Crossover Rd., Fayetteville, AR 72764.
However, one mid-summer night is an especially magical time to visit.
This particular evening will be July 21st, 2018 from 6 - 10 pm.
BGO will be hosting their enchanting Firefly Fling, a celebration of all things fun and fairy.
Everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favorite fairy or woodland creature.
During the day, fairy-enthusiasts can enjoy all sorts of activities.
Before dark, there will be giant bubbles, obstacle courses, nature stations, and crafts. You'll even be able to build your own fairy house!
Families can dance a fairy jig to live music as well.
The event's featured music performers will be The 1 oz. Jig. You may have caught them at Fayetteville's New Year's Eve event, Last Night Fayetteville.
The evening's festivities will certainly light up the night.
Fire-dancing, glow-in-the-dark games and performances will take place once the sun goes down.
This fairy-filled Firefly Fling will be fun for the whole family.
