A whole adventure can be enjoyed at Crystal Bridges all before entering the building. The museum's outdoor trail system is a whimsical stroll filled with one-of-a-kind pieces and beautiful nature. Let's walk along and see what art awaits.
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is a fantastic attraction for every Arkansan family.
The art museum is located at 600 Museum Way, Bentonville, AR 72712.
The museum's outdoor art catches everyone's eye upon walking up, but the grounds certainly have more than just the Buckyball and the silver tree, Yield.
Crystal Bridges also has a 3.5-mile trail system that's filled with unique pieces.
The trails are gorgeous simply on their own...
...and we mean really gorgeous!
But what makes this trail system whimsically unique is the art along the way.
The trails are great for a leisurely stroll...
...or a full-speed dash.
You may not be able to rip-roar with your steed but bicycles are welcomed along most of the trails.
Some of the art will be impossible to miss...
...other pieces like to blend in to their surroundings.
The pieces are made from a wide range of mediums, from bronze...
...to steel. The mix of styles will have everyone picking a favorite.
Temporary exhibits make the museum's grounds an every changing adventure.
Some of the permanent art pieces along the trail were originally temporary exhibits.
The Fiori Boat from the Chihuly Collection recently earned a spot in the North Forest by popular vote.
No matter which trail you take, you'll fall in love with Crystal Bridges' outdoor art.
You can have a full day of adventure without even entering the building (but you'll definitely want to plan an indoor trip too).
