At under three miles long and with an elevation gain of under 500 feet, it's an easy, short-and-sweet hike that virtually anyone can do.
Although it makes for an epic adventure no matter the season, we're partial to visiting Jojoba Trail in the spring.
That's because it's a hub for breathtaking wildflowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors, providing a stark contrast to the otherwise rugged desert landscape.
From poppies to flowering ocotillo cacti, you'll see all sorts of colorful blooms.
The deep, blue lake waters serve as a constant backdrop, guaranteeing picture-perfect views at every turn.
Since the trail is so short, you'll have plenty of time to stop and "smell the roses," so to speak.
Walk at a leisurely pace, admiring the work of Mother Nature and seeing how many different flowers you can identify.
To the east, the Mazatzal Mountains rise up over the lake and add yet another layer of natural beauty.
Don't forget to bring a camera - you'll definitely want it to capture such awe-inspiring scenery.
If you've been searching for a new spring hike to add to your rotation, look no further than Jojoba Trail.
It requires little effort, yet boasts some of the brightest and most cheerful blooms you'll ever see.
Please note: a Tonto Pass is needed to park at most developed sites on Bartlett Lake.
You can purchase one at the Cave Creek Ranger Station.
