Lush greenery and stunning red rock walls will leave you enchanted, and the trees provide ample shade to ward off the intense summer sun. 6. Theodore Roosevelt Lake (Roosevelt)
The largest lake located entirely within the state of Arizona, Theodore Roosevelt Lake is a deep blue oasis nestled just outside of Phoenix. It's an idyllic spot for all sorts of summer adventures, including water recreation activities and camping.
