You don’t have to look far to find evidence of the Wild West in Arizona. It lingers in every crevice of this state, hiding in old ghost towns, museums, and even restaurants. Today, we’re going to take a look at one fun restaurant that gives us a glimpse into this portion of American history, making it fun for the whole family!
This is Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse and Saloon, one of Tucson's favorite spots to rustle up some grub for the past 55 years!
Inside you'll find some beautifully warm wood interiors and you can even walk through a pair of swinging saloon doors.
The dining area is just as warm and inviting, feeling like the perfect spot to fill up after a long day at the ranch or, perhaps in your case, at the office. The interior is decorated with antlers, Western-themed paintings and photography, and crisp checkered tablecloths.
There are also the ties hanging around. The restaurant is known for being a "no ties allowed" joint, meaning they cut off ties and hang them on the walls and from the ceiling! Don't worry, this is for fun and patrons regularly bring in their own ties to add to the walls and ceilings.
The steakhouse is known for, well, its steak but also juicy burgers and mouthwatering baby back ribs. Doesn't that look delicious?
They also have a regular rotation of delicious specials, like this Rodeo Rustler Special that is perfect for the hungriest folks.
Don't forget to wash down your meal with a nice cold drink! They serve Western-themed drinks at the bar and locally-made root beer as a non-alcoholic options.
And, if you're looking for a bit of entertainment, you don't have to go far. Outside, you'll find trick ropers, stunt shows, and other family friendly entertainment.
So, if you want to feel like a cowpoke for a few hours, you know exactly where to head!
Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse and Saloon is located at 6541 East Tanque Verde Road in Tucson. You can find details about the menu, specials, and events by visiting their website or Facebook page.
